The Air Force's lastest and greatest stealth aircraft the F-22 Raptor taxiing down the runway at the 2009 RI Air Show
The 2010 Rhode Island National Guard Open House and Air Show at Quonset Point will be held this weekend June 26th and 27th. The gates will open at 9am each day, with the show will starting at 10am. This year the show will feature the US Air Force Thunderbirds, which typically rotate every other year or so with the Blue Angels. Last year there were two squadrons of jets the Blue Angels and the Canadian Snowbirds. This year the list contains United States Air Force Thunderbirds headlining, and many other past performers will also be returning this year including: Sean D. Tucker, John Klatt, Mike Goulian, the Black Daggers, and others. Some of the new performers this year will be the Red Bull Air Force and Red Bull Aerobatic Helicopter. Also Pietsch Air Shows and Kevin Coleman look to be new for this year.
