Life

Yesterday I went to North Stonington Bible church and the pastor there talked upon an interesting topic which had to do with living a meaningless life. There is a very beautiful illustration in John 12:24 about how a wheat seed has to die to bring forth life. Unless the wheat seed is put into the ground and dies it does not bring forth more seeds it is just good for itself. That is indeed a beautiful illustration of how the death of one (Jesus) brought forth life for all, then though about it for a while and how it applies individually to the Christians. I though wow what a real danger that I will be just a seed of wheat good to save myself and not producing more seeds cause then for all of eternity I have the deal with the fact that my life was only for my self. So I must live dead to the things of this world; I must be dead to world as to be alive in Christ. He tasted of death so that none of us will have to experience that death. He did it willingly even thou he absolutely dreading having to experience it he did it for us; He died so many may live.
