Thunder Birds

Check out the US Air Force Thunder Birds performing a loop at Quonset Point while flying in the delta formation. It is absolutely amazing how they manage to fly so close together through the entire loop at such high speeds.

Well apperantly I am becoming unrevelent in Googel for my name Jonathan Haynes. This is not good since I want people to be able to find me on google. If I type in Jonathan Haynes it used to be that Jonathan Haynes dot com came up first now that seem to have changed. This is not good and I now there need to make Jonathan Haynes dot com more relevent for my name Jonathan Haynes. I think this post will be a good first step but I need more links to my site to also help make my name more known. Manticore

A manticore is like the embodiment of evil in has the body of a lion and a tail like a scorpion, the face of a human, three rows of teeth, and it eats humans, in fact the very name manticore comes from old Persian meaning 'man eater'. It seems that the manticore is associated with the Persians earliest. But if you ask me I think it is some how connected with the Bible. especially those creatures described in the book of Revelation by Saint John. It is also said to originate from the time of Jeremiah when he was thrown into a dung pit, I will have to look into this more but it is interesting how we still use these creatures today in our moves, card games, and legends, but maybe there is some Biblical History behind it.

Two carriers in Newport

I have given up trying to comment on Tim's photo site so I will put it here.
Yeah one of the carrier is the USS Forrestal. It was built in 1951 and had been reclassified several times. The most recent classification was a training carrier, then in was decommissioned in 1993 and is still to be disposed of. Apparently in "April 2004 Navy officials identified ex-Forrestal as one of 24 decommissioned ships available to be sunk as artificial reefs." Seems like kind of a waste of a carrier to me.

The other one most people have heard of is the USS Saratoga which was built in 1952 and launched in 1956. She was also reclassified several times, and currently is on donation hold since being decommissioned in 1994. I am not quite sure why they are pushing to save the Saratoga more; I guess they just had better success in getting that one. http://www.navsource.org/archives/02/60.htm

Guinea Fowl

Today I was walking out of staples in NK through a few bushes in the middle of the parking lot and I hear something making noise. I was slightly alarmed at first I did not know what it was, but low and behold it was a wild turkey, I guess it was a hen. I wasn’t quite sure whether to just be surprised or to try and catching so I could cook up and eat it. Anyhow I ended up just taking some pictures of the turkey. Well it turns out my wild turkey is actually a guinea hen or guinea fowl. I thorugh it looked a like a very weird turkey I just did not know what else it could have been and I still do not know where the thing came from since they apparently are African in origin. Therefore I do not think the guinea hen I saw was wild unless we do have a wild population of guinea fowl around in Rhode Island. It must have escaped from a farm or something, that is my best guess anyway. I am also very disappointed that I did not catch this guinea hen since they apparently are an expensive and good tasting bird, it would have made a good meal if I realized just what the thing was.

Messed up one of my sites

Well I have successfully screwed up http://www.thechrist.us If you click on this link before I am able to figure out how to fix it you will get a forbidden 403 message. I messed up a very important file. At least that is the only thing I can think happened after reading the error logs. The .htaccess file I think is what I messed up somehow by trying to install front page extensions. Well if anyone knows how to fix this problem please let me know.

Elizabeth Haynes

Well my sister Elizabeth Haynes was saying her name is not on the web when you search google and stuff. So I figured I would write about her and see if we can get her name to turn up on google. If you find this website please write a comment about how you found this site. Here is a picture of her with her son Kaden he was born in June so he is about 4 or 5 months old here.

Update on walmart boycott

While I have somewhat relented my boycott of walmart. My boycott still stand even though they have become very influential, and I have mistakenly chosen to bank with a bank located inside of them. I was tempted by the convenience of buying something there and unfortunately ending up doing that. Also as many might know the infamous Jimmy Sole of http://jimmysole.com works there so I ended up visiting him although I have still to hear him wish people a Merry Christmas. We will see what happens when it gets closer to Christmas and they start wishing people that "all inclusive" term happy holidays, which usually completely avoids them having to say the word Christmas. Since it has the word Christ in it and is associated with Christians that is has become a political incorrect word. Seems all the Christian holidays and celebrations have been under attack lately, I don't know what is supposed to be so evil about Christian holidays. Like I still will not understand Kirby's email because it seems he was arguing against himself. If Christmas was a pagan holiday with all those connections to different religions then where is the problem it includes more religions and ethnic groups then any other holiday. It would then include Siberians, Caucuses, Celts, Goths, the god baal, and he even says it is a wide wide world. I am so confused I though that business were teaching they needing diversity, where is the secular world's problem with Christmas except for the Christmas aspect!

More Pictures of Mayan Ruins

This is a picture of a Temple guard at the Mayan ruins of Con Pon, which was like the Athens of the Mayan world. It is a whole different atmosphere down there as far as law enforcement and security goes, and that was before we in the US were even thinking much about security it was in 2000 over a year before the September, 11 attacks. I remember we were leaving the airport in Tela and drove by a couple of, I think they were police officers, on a motor bike wearing urban camouflage, and the guy on the back was holding what looked to a sub-machine, and we were so close to them that he could of practically put the gun right in the van. It took a little getting used to seeing guys with shotguns and sub-machine guns around. Anyhow they are seriously down there, so don't go down there and except to commit a crime you wouldn't live long.

I think this is the human sacrifice alter, and the other one was the animal sacrifice alter. I can not remember, If anyone knows please leave me a comment and let me know.
