Barack Obama has done it; he is now the president elect of the United States. We will soon see what kind of change he brings to America. He certainly has the tools and the backing, so lets hope he makes the right changes.
This must be a bitter sweet victory for him; losing his grandmother on the same day. He seems to be in pretty good spirits right now as he is delivering his speech, I think playing basketball today he blew off some stress. So, for now I am sure he is just going to be savoring this historic moment. Soon he will be facing an uphill battle to pull this country out of its economic distress. Hopefully he can motivate the banks and corporations to make change as much as he has motivated the common folk.
