I got a pleasant surprise listening to the radio this morning I found out that apparently today is Gingerbread house day, and what was my picture of the day, but a gingerbread house. I could not have even planed that any better if I tried. Although I did miss that today is also Poinsettia Day. Appearently:
“Poinsettia day marks the death of the first U.S. Ambassador to Mexico, Joel Roberts Poinsett, who has been credited with introducing the native Mexican plant to the North America. The purpose of this day is to enjoy the beauty of this popular holiday plant.”(nipawinjournal.com)
So for tomorrow’s picture I will have to find a Poinsettia.
