Here is the same picture from yesterday of the bridge over Belleville Pond in color as promised (actually I made no promise, following the principle of under promising and over delivering). You will probably notice that the image is a actually a little different, as I did change the angle of it a little and subsquently forgot to change it back. Also, I did what I could to bring the sky back in it a little using a gradient overlay, on a separate layer. However the preferred method of bringing out the sky would have been by putting a polarizer on the lens when I took the photograph, but I did not do that because I do not yet have a polarizer that fits that particular lens. It may be hard to notice a lot sharpness here, but I also ran a high pass filter on a background layer, which really helped to bring out a lot of detail in the image. I would appreiate your thoughts, so please feel free to comment.
The white walking bridge in the picture above crosses Belleville pond at the only connection point between the smaller pond and the larger main pond, where the large flocks of birds congregate. As such it is the only location from where the entire pond can be viewed.
There are more images to come from Ryan Park so check back often.
