These two carriers are the USS Forrestal (front) and USS Saratoga (back) in Newport RI. I though them to be appropriate for Pearl Harbor day although they were both build after Pearl Harbor. I already used the Hellcat, which was a World War II plane, and these carriers reflect what we learned from Pearl Harbor; that carriers are much more useful than battleships and represents our shift away from battleships towards carriers. Now with the Mighty Mo (USS Missouri) retired since 1998 the US Navy has no more battleships in service, but has many aircraft carriers including 2 kitty hawk class carriers and 9 Nimitz class carriers
