Above is a photograph of the sunrise which was taken not far from a place named Charles Rock, which is on the edge of Wickford Harbor. In the background is the Quonset Point Industrial park, and a rather large crane which is used in ship building. The sunrise this past Sunday was absolutely amazing as is often the case, when one takes the time to really stop and look. Sunrises happen everyday and yet everyday it is something new. It is almost like a sign that this day is unlike any other in your life, it will never come again and has never come before so we must make the best of the day. The sunrise could be described as a fingerprint of God. The sunrise reveals what was covered over by the night; it is the light triumphing over the darkness, and it happens everyday. What a majestic sign it is to see the sun comes up it the morning.

Great shot! I miss these views. I grew up in NK (lived near Quonset Point) and now live in Florida. Thanks for all your pics!
