This photograph of the Jamestown Verrazno Bridge was taken just over a week ago. The Jamestown Verrazno Bridge spans the West Passage of Narragansett Bay, and replaced the old Jamestown Verrazno Bridge in 1992. The photograph was taken from Jamestown (a town which covers all of Conanicut Island) looking across the bay towards plum beach in North Kingstown.
