This is a photograph of the sunrise which was taken not far from a place named Charles Rock, which is on the edge of Wickford Harbor. In the background is the Quonset Point Industrial park, and a rather large crane which is used in ship building.

Tweet Today’s picture of the day is a seagull flying in Wickford harbor.Â It is funny considering the number of seagulls in Rhode Island and the fact that Rhode Island is nick named the ocean stateÂ one would think that the seagull would make a good state bird.Â Â Of course the seagull is not the state bird.
